Mt. Nebo

Mt. Nebo by Marie Schryver I was remembering the last place anyone saw Moshe alive. The account is in the last chapter of the Torah, Deuteronomy 22. He was on Mt. Nebo, where he was allowed to look at the Promised Land from a distance. When he died, the Word says that Yah Himself buried him! What must it have been like for Moshe? He lived a long, wonderful life. "One-hundred twenty years old and his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated!" Yah was upset with him for striking the rock but He still welcomed him into glory! How do we know this? Matthew 17:3, Mark 9:4 and Luke 9:30 testify seeing Moshe with Eliyahu when Yashua was transfigured before them at the Feast of Tabernacles because Eliyahu had to return to proclaim the arrival of Messiah.  The Word also says that the people of Israel cried and mourned for Moshe for 30 days!
